Cochrane Artist | Born in Santiago, Chile...

My first paintings were portraits of people of other cultures; I find them so beautiful and fascinating.  Once I learned how to use a pallet knife however, I was hooked on impressionism impasto.

I enjoy painting the simple beauty of Birch trees which are so common in Alberta and wild flowers in bright colors that pop right out of the canvas.

My Latin background and my faith are evident in my work and my hope is that it evokes emotion in my viewers.

My work is currently being displayed and sold at On a Lark in beautiful old downtown Okotoks.  It has also been displayed and sold at Avenida Art Gallery, Harlequin Art Gallery, the Calgary Stampede Western Art show, several Calyx and other art shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon for the past 15 years.

I also enjoy teaching my technique to students of all ages and skill levels.

I hope you enjoy what you see!
